On October 31, 2006, Static Moon held its first annual Parting the Veil Festival!

The store was decorated in its Samhain finest! Masks, candles, figurines, incense, and various other decor items graced the store's front window to entice the curious.

Visitors entered the store by -- you guessed it! -- parting a veil. The archway was adorned with sage and sweetgrass to cleanse them as they walked through.

Everyone was encouraged to light a tea candle in remembrance of those dear to us who have passed. The light would help invite them closer and guide them to join us that night.

Lady Susanna lights this candle every year on Samhain to pay tribute to those killed for their beliefs during the witch trials and in other times of persecution.

Various divination tools were available for visitors to use, such as a scrying mirror, crystal ball, and spirit board.
